Stop sobbing, Deek

"So what happens? He gets the title shot outdoors on the ballpark and what do I get? A one-way ticket to Palooka-ville!"

Derek Riordan, who has been whining to the tabloid press about his tough time at Celtic strikes me as a nice enough lad with no sense and a fondness for the dummy.

I always suspected he wasn't the brightest when he said that his mother knew how to pronounce Riordan but his dad didn't because "look at the way it's spelled". It's just as well his old mum didn't marry Mr Colquhoun or Deek would be spitting out a heck of a mouthful to the polis at weekends.

Several months ago Stephen Pearson who gave everything to get into the team, had to move on but acted like a Celtic player should with maturity and dignity. Almost every Celtic fan is delighted that Pearo earned promotion to the Premiership. In his place we have a greetin'-faced wee boy who thinks that the odd flash of ability makes him a certain starter. He is a good player who can either knuckle down or head off to West Brom or Cardiff City.

Gordon Strachan gave all the strikers a chance - admittedly Kenny Miller more than others. That was because Miller's attitude and work rate meant that the team always got something out of him and because he deserved every break he could get. If Riordan, Craig Beattie, Maciej Zurawski or even Jiri Jarosik had turned chances to goals in the way that Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink managed, they would have been regular starters. I'm sure WGS would have loved that scenario - not least because the title would have been wrapped up in March.

So save the whine, Deek, look at videos of Lee Naylor, from your mansion that Celtic paid for, and figure out what he's doing and you're not - and get your hair cut!

Irrelevant how hard he works....along with pressley, hartley, beattie, caldwell, I'm afraid riordan simply is not good enough to play for celtic

Jim Kerr said...

After watching Charlie Richmond, join His mates, Satan McCurry & Stupid Dougal, in Their masonic decision-making "process," by GIFTING rangers TWO, count Them TWO goals yesterday, amongst other special dispensatiosn .... The corrupt Iain Blair's master-plan is still on track, although Dundee Utd once again had the audacity to derail it somewhat by making Celtic the team Who have conceded the LEAST Goals in the SPL

Celtic also have the Top Goal Scorer, no matter what the inbred Boydichenko might wish in His nightly black masses ....

It's True, by the way, that Wee Deeks is the Greatest non-playing Striker "on the planet," as is Bobo Balde .... We've all seen how They come on & light up Europe with Their 2nd-to-none skills .... How could They be overlooked so regularly !?!? ....

The way Bobo's thrown away Matches at KEY TIMES that have lost Us the League with 2 minutes to go, the UEFA Cup Final in extra time, not to mention qualifying for the last 16 with a hand ball .... When it doesn't matter Bobo's "Genuinely" magnificent .... When it matters most His particulat talent is LETTING YOU DOWN .... I'm Calling for His reinstatement right away ....

Derek Riordan's SELF-CONFESSED inability to track-back, is a real Credit to Him & He must be chosen right away for this excellent skill He has .... Regardless of How much back-stabbing He's prepared to do, He HAS had SEVERAL starts & NOT SCORED or ran-back after the ball when HE lost it .... What a GREAT Player !!!!

Derek Riordan is an EXCELLENT SHOT, other than that He's got HEE-HAW going for Him except hair-dos which the hairdresser cuts whilst sitting ON His Head ....

If this isn't a reason to sack double-champions-winning, double-last-16-in-a-row-in-Europe-achieving, double-cup-winnning, 3-rangers-managers-in-only-2-seasons-gubbing, wage-bill-dramatically-reducing, profit-maximising, over-all-age-by-a-DECADE-reducing, Gordon Strachan, then I DON'T KNOW WHAT Is !!!!

If We'd won last week against the minGers & then against Motherwell, We'd be Top of the League, gosh We're doing SO badly ....

P.S. For those Who can't count .... It turns out that We can Still win the League this Season .... Who Knew !?!?

As usual, I'll not be back to read Your anal ramblings & cringworthily unselfaware spineless clap trap, but feel free to hammer away with Your extra thumbs on each hand gimps .... Tara

Here's to THREE IN A ROW !!!!

HAIL HAIL !!!!
CHAMPIONEES !!!! CHAMPIONEES !!!!

If Riordan is not deemed good enough to play - why are Donati, Macdonald, Hesselink, Nakamura,
Caldwell, Naylor, Sno, Killen, McManus ALL playing????

Gordon Strachan has succeeded in taking this club back to the John Barnes era. It is time he went - NOW!
