| Well, that's it. Dream, believe, hope what you like but Celtic will not be winning the SPL this season. Not time for recrimination but there are one or two people who should be looking for new employers. The centre of defence is heavy on players but light on talent. The strikers have been posted missing for the past few weeks and frankly, Gordon Strachan has to take his share of the blame. Time after time the team have failed to dominate against inferior players and Strachan has continued to play the same tired system, making very poor use of substitutes. Was it really too much to try three forwards against Motherwell (before 84 minutes) after they had just lost a midfielder? Strachan is a good manager who has had two good seasons and one very disappointing one. |

i think the main culprit here is peter lawell he picked strachan cheap option i suppose yer man balde hasnt kicked a ball this season a man in my opinon should be playing ever game lawell has been trying to get rid of him and now it has backfired on us we have lost the leugue simple as that and anotherthing the main shareholder should also pack up never there to support the bhoys time for change at the top and management etc
anonymous is right to certain extent, Lawell hired strachan and authorised the cheap centre backs etc.etc. so how can it be strachans fault. It's the money men at Celtic who are to blame...theyre the ones making all the loot at being cheap barstars with our club.
I'm for keeping Strachan for another season - generally he has deserved more credit than he has been given.
However, he can't escape all criticism. He has had enough good players to win the SPL - and failing to reach even a semi-final hasn't been anything to shout about.
